Admission Eligibility Criteria

Pass STPM – Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia with Grade C in 2 subjects; (or)
Pass STAM with at least Grade Jayyid (or)
Pass UEC – Unified Examination Certificate with 5 grade B in any subject, including English subject; (or)
Pass Matriculation or Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 (or)
Pass a Diploma in a relevant discipline with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 (or)
A Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) subjected to HEP Senate / Academic Board’s approval; (or)
A Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) subjected to HEP Senate / Academic Board’s approval; (or)
Passed APEL A (Level 6) assessment for Bachelor’s level (or)

Any other qualifications recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE)

Note:
Entry requirements for admission into the Bachelor’s programme (level 6, MQF) through APEL as approved by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). Applicants must be/have:

A Malaysian citizen; and

The candidate should be more than 21 years of age in the year of application;

Relevant work experience / prior experiential learning; and

Passed APEL A (Level 6) assessment for Bachelor’s level

Pass A-Levels with 2 minimum subject passes (or)
Pass an International Baccalaureate (IB) with at least 24 points (or)
Pass a Diploma in a relevant discipline with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 (or)

Any other qualifications recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE)

English Requirements

All Candidates whose first language is not English and who have not undertaken tertiary education in English must demonstrate competence in English by one of the following (or equivalent according to international recognition):

An International English Language Testing Services (IELTS) (academic) overall Band score of 5.5 or better. IELTS test results must be current for two years.
A TOEFL score of 550 points, at least 4.5 in the Test of Written English (TWE) or above, or 213 in the computerised TOEFL (with a minimum 5 in the Essay Rating). TOEFL results must be current for 18 months.
International Baccalaureate (IB) Grade 5 or better, in English, as a Higher Level subject in Group 1 Language A (first language) or Group 2 Language B (second language).
General Certificate of Education (GCE) ‘A’ level examination in English, with a grade of C or better from Britain or Singapore.

Note: For the Bachelor level, international students must achieve a minimum score of 5.5 for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) OR its equivalent.
