Dr. Amutha Navamoney is a seasoned academic consultant, trainer, and educator with over three decades of experience in higher education and corporate training. Her educational background includes a PhD in Education with a focus on Educational Technology.
Dr. Amutha's expertise encompasses Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Digital Technology Transformation and Management, e-Pedagogy, eLearning, Instructional Design, alternative Assessment methodologies, and Educational Technology. She's passionate about Design-Based Research, using innovative technology to address real-world educational challenges.
Her career began with ICT training for corporations and peer training programs. She became an assessor for prior learning accreditation and crafted a training guide for the Ministry of Human Resources in Malaysia. Dr. Amutha's impact expanded to training ICT graduates for the Northern Super Corridor project and facilitating programs for organizations like 3M and Exxon Mobil.
In higher education, she excelled in research, development, and training in digital technology and eLearning. She designed curricula, led workshops, and trained faculty in modern pedagogy and learning technologies. She also played a vital role in retraining retrenched MAS employees.
Dr. Amutha later served as Director for Pedagogy and Training at Taylor's Education Group and contributed to various government projects during the Covid-19 pandemic. She currently works as an adjunct professor at Manipal GlobalNxt University and holds roles as a visiting faculty member and education consultant, where she continues to make a significant impact in education and corporate training.
